I bought this on a whim. I was planning to make ground chicken meatballs, and I hate the drudgery of rolling each meatball by hand. Initially I was going to buy a scoop, but that still required a lot of rolling to get the spherical shape for each meatball. When I saw this, I decided to give it a try even though I felt skeptical about whether it would really work. On my first attempt, I didn’t have quite enough of the meat mixture in each mold. I took the cover off and added more meat and got nice round meatballs on my second try. It’s far superior to rolling the meatballs by hand.
